ABOUT US
Our homemade products are handcrafted in small batches and are made with wild yeast (sourdough) and freshly milled 100% whole grain flour which is grown locally here in the Jezreel Valley.
I grew up with a love for baking and first discovered the world of sourdough at the beginning of 2020. The idea of being able to make bread the ancient way intrigued me, so I began experimenting.
About a year later my husband and I decided to invest in a small countertop grain mill to be able to use some wheat that a group of our friends sowed, grew and harvested as a community project. Determined that a 100% whole grain loaf could be more than a lumpy brick of a bread, I accepted the challenge to make something not only delicious, but also visually beautiful.
It took me about a year and a half with many trials and errors and more bricks of bread than I can count until I slowly began to understand the personality of whole grain sourdough and experience this ancient craft turn into beautiful loaves of bread.
